Pay Range: $43,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
We're a friendly, family-owned neighborhood automotive repair shop in Northeast Los Angeles looking for a reliable Helper/Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for an automotive repair trade school student or recent graduate to gain hands-on, real-world experience and learn every side of the business — working in the shop and at the front counter.
About the Job
You'll assist technicians in the back-of-house with vehicle service and repairs, including shop care, parts handling, and light tasks. You'll also support the front-of-house by greeting customers, answering phones, helping with repair orders, and standing in for the Service Advisor when needed. This is a true learn-by-doing role — you'll see firsthand how diagnostics, repairs, customer service, and shop operations all come together.
Requirements
✅ 100% Bilingual English/Spanish
✅ Some automotive experience (trade school students welcome and encouraged to apply)
✅ Valid driver's license, clean record
✅ Good communication skills
A Very Big Plus ✅ Knowledge of Mitchell 1 Manager SE software for invoicing and estimating
