Job Summary
Luigi's is a family owned and operated Italian Restaurant located on the historic downtown liberty square. We have been serving up our recipes for over 11 years and are looking to add some excellent team members so that we can maintain our strong team! We are open Tuesday-Saturday and are looking for someone available to work evenings and saturdays. Holiday availability is required. We currently need to fill shifts that include bothering friday and saturday evenings.
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and supporting the dining experience by assisting with table settings and cleanliness. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of hospitality at Luigi's.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm welcome.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart.
- Assist servers by clearing tables, refilling drinks, and providing necessary support during service.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Uphold high standards of food service and hospitality throughout the restaurant.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
