About the Role:
Luigi's Gourmet Express & Restaurant in Johnston, RI is looking for a talented and passionate Bartender to join our team! If you love crafting cocktails, creating memorable guest experiences, and have a flair for Italian hospitality, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Craft and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty Italian-inspired beverages with consistency and flair
- Provide exceptional guest service at the bar and support dining room beverage needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar station throughout each shift
- Engage guests with menu knowledge, including food and drink pairings
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly and adhere to all alcohol service regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen and floor staff to ensure a seamless dining experience
Requirements:
- Previous bartending experience, preferably in a full-service or restaurant environment
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and Italian spirits a plus
- Valid Rhode Island alcohol server certification (or ability to obtain one)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first attitude
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
