Role Description
The Graphic Design Intern is an unpaid internship role based out of Appleton, WI. This position supports the design team in developing visual assets for apparel, streetwear, accessories, and home decor, including graphics for prints, packaging, and brand collateral. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with logo and brand mark exploration, preparing production-ready files, and editing images for digital and physical use. The intern will help maintain visual consistency across platforms, collaborate on campaign concepts, and contribute fresh ideas aligned with luh calm’s minimalist and tech-inspired aesthetic. This role involves close collaboration with designers and other team members, regular feedback sessions, and hands-on experience in a fast-paced, detail-oriented studio environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with a strong eye for composition, typography, and layout.
- Candidates should possess skills in Logo Design and Branding, including the ability to translate concepts into cohesive visual identities.
- Candidates should possess skills in Image Editing, including basic to intermediate proficiency with photo-retouching and optimization tools.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design software (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or equivalent) is preferred.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certificate in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, willingness to take feedback, and ability to meet deadlines in a collaborative studio setting are important.
