Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping journey
- Operate the cash register accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision
- Conduct retail sales transactions efficiently while maintaining a balanced cash drawer
- Assist customers with product inquiries, offering product demos and upselling relevant items to enhance their purchase experience
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure attractive presentation and availability of products
- Support inventory management through stocking, inventory counts, and product replenishment
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely
Requirements
- Previous experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is preferred
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and written form; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Proven supervising experience or leadership qualities in a retail setting are advantageous
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for retail math calculations and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising standards, and customer service best practices
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and handling merchandise throughout the shift
- Excellent phone etiquette, active listening skills, and a friendly demeanor to engage customers effectively
