Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including specials and wine pairings
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages
- Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and proper food safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Clear tables promptly, bus tables as needed, and reset stations for incoming guests
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with SKYTAB is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations accurately
- Experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or cashiering is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment within a fast-paced hospitality setting
