Your tasks as Tooling and Test Equipment Engineer, Mechanical may include, among others:
- Specify or develop tools and test fixtures as needed for new products
- Write technical specifications and create accurate and timely project schedules
- Create test instructions and procedures for component testing and repairs
- Assist in training production staff in the proper usage of tools/fixtures
- Perform design studies; Help prepare cost estimates and feasibility studies for review and approval by management; Assist in project coordination
- Provide engineering support to production for current repair capabilities
- Interface with customer technical representatives to refine specifications requirements, design goals, and schedules
- Comply with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements
- All other duties as assigned or required

You must fulfill the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent required
- Prior experience in Aviation (MRO) Engineering desirable
- Experience in designing Tooling and Test Equipment to meet CMM requirements. Navigate efficiently through repair documentation
- Fluency in English language required
- German language desirable
- Good knowledge of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Business (MRO)
- Good knowledge in Aviation law, both EASA and FAA desired
- Skilled in MS Office and SolidWorks as user
- Excellent safety and security
