Drive demand forecasting, optimize USM portfolios, and lead data-driven decisions that maximize profitability, efficiency, and material availability across worldwide operations. Tasks Your main tasks include, among others: Optimize and forecast global inventory levels of as removed, unserviceable, and serviceable components and LRU Define and develop product line strategy based on data analytics and market trends Consolidate and forecast worldwide surplus demand for MRO consumption and trading opportunities Manage the material portfolio in terms of financial performance, competitiveness, innovation, and complexity within the global USM network Responsible for financial performance of USM organization by ensuring material availability according to forecasted demand of demand owners within the LHT Group Maximize savings and revenue by optimizing total cost including but not limited to material fair market values, test/repair cost, inventory carrying cost, and logistics cost * All other duties as assigned or required Behind the scenes Our Purpose The Lufthansa Group connects people, cultures, and economies in a sustainable way.
