FACTS
Your main tasks include, among others:
- Coordinate Weight and Balance documentation with LH Global Load Control
- Maintain trip files, traffic reports, and aircraft-handling data
- Supervise ramp functions, load security checks, and handling during irregularities
- Oversee all aircraft handling phases, including fueling, boarding, and cargo preparation
- Ensure proper securing of cargo, luggage, and passenger counts
- Monitor handling performance, document delays, and implement process improvements
- Ensure quality targets/KPIs, training, and service level agreements are met
- Liaise with authorities, manage resources, and support passenger services
- Ensure safety, security, legal compliance, and cost-efficient operations
- Lead and motivate providers, uphold Lufthansa standards, and represent the brand
- Perform other tasks and/or projects, as assigned

To excel in this role, you will need a combination of the following qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Bachelor's degree desirable
- Several years of aircraft handling experience required
- Fluent in English; German and other languages desirable
- Knowledge of Lufthansa/airline operations, airport procedures, and DCS systems
- Valid SO Qualification and SOCC surveillance training
- Preferred: SERP planning, LEAN methodology, passenger handling, gate processes
- Proficient in MS Office and Campus-supported software
- Strong communication, problem-solving, reasoning, and integrity
- Ability to work under pressure, handle stress, and lift up to 70 lbs
- Must have a valid driver’s license and legal U.S. work permit
- Willing to travel, work shifts, and endure outdoor/weather conditions
