Job Overview
Lufkin Rubber & Gasket has an opportunity for an experienced receiving clerk to join our team. Some familiarity with industrial products, especially hoses and gaskets, would be greatly beneficial.
The Receiving / Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating material movements, and supporting warehouse operations. This role ensures that all incoming shipments are processed efficiently, materials are organized and stored correctly, and accurate documentation is maintained.
Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and inventory shipments.
- Accurately update and maintain inventory records in the inventory management system.
- Organize, store, and track materials in accordance with warehouse procedures.
- Collaborate with purchasing, production, and logistics teams to ensure adequate stock levels and timely deliveries.
- Generate inventory and receiving reports as required by management.
- Ability to work with cross functional teams with a keen focus on customer service.
- Performs other related duties assigned by management.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or a related function preferred.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments to ensure efficiency within the area.
- Must know how to operate personal computers and software (Microsoft Office).
- Good organizational, planning, and timekeeping skills.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
