D-tect, a VPI Technology Group (VPI) subsidiary, seeks a highly motivated entry-level individual to join our skilled manufacturing team. This position will reside full-time at our location in Draper, Utah. Position will be on a 9/80 schedule, working M-Th 7:30-5 and every other Friday from 7:30-4. Wage: $17.75 hourly with benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a US citizen (government contract requirement)
- Manufacturing assembly experience preferred
- Previous soldering experience a plus
- Great attention to detail
- Manual dexterity, fine motor controls, and strong hand-eye coordination
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds infrequently
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills
- Self-motivation to complete daily production goals
- High degree of professionalism and maturity with ability to work independently
- Ability to adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events
- Exercise good judgment, keeping in mind company policies and procedures
- Perform manufacturing activities in accordance with procedures, job travelers, and instructions
- Ensure that any special requirements documented on each specific job traveler are implemented
- Identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures
- Assure that all paperwork is properly signed for accountability
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
