Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to oversee and coordinate the nursing staff within a dedicated unit. The role is instrumental in ensuring the delivery of quality care, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents.
- Lead and manage a team of nurses and support staff within the unit
- Develop and implement care plans, ensuring individualized resident care
- Supervise daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Conduct regular assessments to maintain quality standards and compliance
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to nursing staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident well-being

To be successful as a Unit Manager, you will need:
- A valid state RN nursing license
- An advanced degree or certification preferred
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both strong clinical and interpersonal skills
