Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a manufacturing environment. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing production teams, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production employees
- Monitor production schedules and adjust resources as needed to meet goals
- Enforce safety, quality, and productivity standards
- Train, coach, and evaluate team members to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records of shift activities, including production output and incidents
- Collaborate with quality assurance, logistics, maintenance, and scheduling teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support lean manufacturing principles
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of production equipment and safety protocols
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and manufacturing software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends, if required
- Ability to pass a drug and background screen
