This is a full-time, on-site role based in Middletown, RI. The position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of shelter facilities, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning efficiently. Day-to-day tasks include routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and responding promptly to repair requests. The role demands a hands-on approach to maintain a safe, clean, and operational environment for all residents and staff.
- Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Hands-on expertise in Troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical and mechanical challenges effectively.
- Experience in Maintenance & Repair, including routine and emergency repair tasks.
- Knowledge of Industrial Maintenance, with the ability to work on specialized equipment and systems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an on-site environment.
- Prior experience in facility management or a related field is preferred.
