Our meats are smoked daily, and our sides are made from scratch, ensuring a high-quality, memorable dining experience for every guest. We are looking for passionate and dedicated line cooks with a love for the craft of BBQ to join our tight-knit kitchen team.
Position Overview
We are seeking skilled and reliable BBQ Line Cooks and Dishwashers to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment. You will be a vital part of our culinary team, responsible for executing our menu items with speed, consistency, and attention to detail. This role requires a commitment to quality, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. We are looking for cooks for both lunch and dinner shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and Cook Menu Items: Accurately and efficiently prepare and cook all menu items, with a focus on smokehouse cooking techniques, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Station Management: Set up, stock, and maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all necessary supplies and ingredients (meats, sides, sauces, garnishes) are available for service.
Quality Control: Ensure all dishes meet our presentation, portion, and quality standards before they are delivered to the dining room.
Food Safety & Sanitation: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling, storage, labeling, and rotation of all food products.
Team Collaboration: Communicate clearly and effectively with the management, culinary and service staff to ensure smooth and timely service during peak hours.
General Duties: Assist with food prep assignments during off-peak periods, help put away incoming orders/deliveries, and perform closing duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience cooking in a fast-paced restaurant environment; specific experience in a BBQ or Southern kitchen is preferred.
Skills: Strong understanding of cooking methods, knife handling skills, and kitchen equipment operation (la plancha, ovens, stoves, smokers, fryers, etc.).
Physical Stamina: Ability to work in a standing position for long periods (up to 8-10 hours) in a hot environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
Soft Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.

Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have a flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
