Established in 2015, Lucky Street Gaming is the 10th largest licensed Terminal Operator in the state of Illinois. LSG partners with small business owners to operate Video Gaming Terminals (VGTs or slot machines) across the state of Illinois servicing over 60 establishments including bars, restaurants, truck stops, gas stations, convenience stores, and fraternal organizations. Job Summary
The Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of all video gaming terminals (VGTs) and related electronic gaming devices at licensed gaming establishments. The role requires strict adherence to Illinois Gaming Board compliance standards, rules, and procedures to ensure the security and protection of employees and clients.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer service calls and scheduled work orders utilizing company provided equipment including vehicles, handheld tools, and other computer-based items
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and service video gaming terminals (VGTs) and redemption terminals (RTs/ATMs)
- Preventative machine maintenance, and routine machine cleaning
- Comply with Illinois Gaming Board regulations and licensing requirements
- Provide exception customer service to our clients and patrons
- Diagnose and troubleshoot machines
- Must be able to handle, count, and distribute cash
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Must be able to work 6pm – 2:30am (along with on-call availability including weekends)
Recommended Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be licensed by the Illinois Gaming Board as a Terminal Handler (or be eligible for licensing)
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Organized, with the ability to meet daily deadlines and track tasks efficiently
- Detail-oriented, with strong time management skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule include over-time when needed
Advanced Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Problem-solving ability, especially in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations
- Ability to always maintain confidentiality
- Accurate counting skills, especially when handling cash
- Strong aptitude with networking equipment, hand tools, and/or electrical and computer component’s
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, sit, crouch, and drive for extended periods
- Must have physical dexterity to handle tools and gaming equipment
Starting Pay:
$21 - $23an hour, based on experience and gaming license status
