General Description
The Licensed Plumber will be under the direct Supervision of the Facilities & Maintenance Director. The Licensed Plumber will use a working Knowledge of plumbing systems to conduct maintenance, fault-finding, Installation, diagnostics on existing systems, repairs pipes and fixtures associated with water distribution, and sanitation systems in commercial structures at all Lucky Star Casino locations. Also fixes domestic appliances, such as dishwashers and gas cookers, etc. to casino standards while upholding safety guidelines and complying with codes and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This position includes, but is not limited to, the duties and responsibilities noted below:
· Install, maintain, modify, and repair all plumbing systems and associated plumbing equipment.
· Inspect and test components of plumbing systems, sanitation systems, and water distribution systems.
· Complete work orders and record materials utilized on jobs.
· Survey plumbing systems and sanitation systems and plans.
· Plan layout of installation of plumbing systems, gas systems, water distribution systems and equipment based on job specifications.
· Maintain all equipment in excellent working order.
· Comply with all safety standards and regulations.
· Must exhibit STAR treatment to all customers and co-workers.
· Complete other duties as assigned.
Physical Job Requirements
· Must be able to move objects up to and exceeding 50lbs. with reasonable accommodations.
· Requires bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, crouching, turning, kneeling, stooping, lifting and pulling.
· Sit and/or stand continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with lunch break.
Qualification Standards
· Must pass pre-employment drug test
· Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent
· Must have valid Driver’s License
· Must possess Plumber’s License or 5 years related experience
· Must possess and maintain a valid Cheyenne and Arapaho Gaming License/Permit
