Barber/Stylist

Lucky Spot Barbershop is growing and expanding!  Our South Tryon location is looking for new barbers to join our team!!

You must have a current license to cut hair and have completed a barber training program. While we focus on men’s hairstyles, you should be comfortable using a variety of hairstyling techniques for different customers. You must have strong communication and customer service skills; we want all of our customers to enjoy being in our barbershop and leave satisfied with their cut so that they become regular customers.

Barber Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Greet clients as they arrive and offer them refreshments.

·         Prep clients for their haircut and ask what type of styling they want.

·         Cut and style clients’ hair to their specifications.

·         Engage in friendly conversation with clients.

·         Keep your station, tools, and equipment sanitized and in good condition.

·         Ensure you have the proper products in stock for future clients.

Barber Requirements and Qualifications:

·         High school diploma or GED certificate

·         Barber/hairstylist license with "behind the chair" experience.

·         Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.

·         Organizational and time-management abilities

·         Attention to detail.
