Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems and be adept at performing installation, maintenance, and repair work on various air conditioning units. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
• Perform necessary repairs on refrigeration units and other cooling/heating systems.
• Collaborate with other technicians on complex projects involving HVAC design and installation.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working in various environments, including residential and commercial properties.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, and boiler operations.
• EPA licence (608 technician certification)
• Experience as a service technician.
• Proficiency in using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for repairs.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
