Budtender/Delivery Driver

** This position entails both Budtending & Driving. **

Schedule / Hours:
This is a part-time evening position with the following typical schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Occasional Saturday shifts: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Occasional Sunday shifts: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Candidates must be available for weekday evening shifts. Weekend shifts may be scheduled periodically based on business needs.

Budtender:

The Budtender/Receptionist will serve customers at our dispensary with the mission of treating everyone like gold. The Budtender/Receptionist plays a pivotal role in building strong relationships with our customers, increasing sales, and embodying Lucky Green Ladies’ core values. The Budtender/Receptionist will have an outgoing and positive demeanor, a motivated work ethic, and a track record of working well with others in a team environment. They will directly assist customers, process transactions, help merchandise the sales floor and play a vital role in making our retail experience the best in the industry. Top-notch customer service skills are a must, as is the ability to learn product knowledge quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must have strong interpersonal skills and have experience working in a customer-facing or sales role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet customers as they enter the store
• Offer help and provide direct assistance to customers
• Provide in-depth product knowledge, including features, benefits, and overall value
• Ensure that all customers are over the age of 21 and have proof of identification (State License or Passport)
• Answer customer questions and concerns
• Attend to unique and individual shopping needs of each customer
• Cross-sell and encourage beneficial product add-ons
• Upsell when appropriate; promote current sales, promotions, deals, etc.
• Explain store-member benefits and encourage customers to sign up
• Handle customer complaints in a calm and professional manner
• Report anything unusual or any major incidents to management
• Help organize back stock and perform inventory counts
• Organize and replenish front stock and help merchandise store
• Maintain a clean and tidy work and retail space
• Be enthusiastic and informative about all products
• Help create a positive environment for customers to shop and buy
• Take direction from and report to assigned supervisor
• Work as a team to achieve sales goals
• Utilize basic math skills to process transactions accurately using a cash register
• Apply retail math knowledge to handle inventory and sales transactions efficiently
• Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems to process sales transactions
• Handle cash transactions securely and maintain cash handling procedures
• Demonstrate proper phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years or older and pass any and all required pre-employment screenings
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Cannabis experience required
• Ability to pass a background check
• Previous retail, sales and/or hospitality experience a major plus
• Computer literate; familiarity using POS systems
• Extremely personable, positive, and approachable
• Fantastic customer service skills
• Comfortable standing for long periods of time; can lift up to 20 pounds
• Able to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and oftentimes high-pressure environment
• Willingness to learn and tackle new challenges
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing
• Experience with cash register operations
• Knowledge of retail math for inventory management
• Competence in cash handling procedures
• Good phone etiquette for addressing customer inquiries

Delivery Driver:

Responsibilities include:

• Safely and efficiently operating the vehicle from the facility to customer’s delivery addresses, or from one customer address to another
• Abiding by the state and local driving regulations and also the regulations set forth of the Office of Cannabis Management
• Finding the most time efficient routes to and from customers’ delivery addresses, while ensuring that cannabis product is never crossing over State lines
• Communicating to the dispatcher;
• Following customer’s delivery instructions as stated in their delivery notes and/or upon arrival of the delivery (or based upon previous interactions and learned customer preferences)
• Communicating with the customer;
• Estimated Time of Arrival, any delays, etc.
• Maintaining a positive and professional manner when at the delivery with our customers
• Being prepared upon the arrival of delivery
• Manage documents associated with cannabis delivery, ensuring that proper documents are kept and manifests are returned completed and ready for filing
• Help fulfill orders and other tasks on an as needed basis.
• Ensuring that all documentation, cash, vehicle keys and electronics are returned to the facility at the end of the shift/day.
• Maintaining positive, professional relationships with other facility/delivery staff
• Opening/closing the drawer and other opening/closing duties as listed on SOPs and checklists.
• All staff are responsible for completing down time tasks when delivery is slow
• Cleaning, data entry, footage uploading, etc.

Required Skills

• Must be 21 years or older and pass any and all required pre-employment screenings
• Must have a clean motor vehicle driving record (minor violations may be considered)
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Ability to communicate professionally in person to effectively explain all variations of cannabis products to guests, if necessary
• Basic math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions
• Must be able to sit and drive for extended periods of time while maintaining focus.
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 lbs (100 lbs with assistance) AND must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with products.
• Ability to diligently fulfill orders
• Cannabis experience required
• Able to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays
