We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed
- Prepare various food items according to recipes and menu specifications
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed during food preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including utensils and equipment
- Collaborate with Chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and safety standards in the food industry
- Knowledge of proper knife skills and the ability to use kitchen equipment safely
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- A passion for cooking and a willingness to learn new culinary skills
