POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position will supervise all Shipping & Receiving functions. Will maintain equipment and supplies in accordance with Casino accounting procedures and Tribal policies & procedures. Will work with vendors/suppliers, and provide advice regarding furniture, equipment, inventory levels, and needs for all departments.
This position ensures the confidentiality, security, and accuracy of guest’s records, and promotes positive guest and team member relations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required and outstanding guest service to fellow team members, guests, vendors, etc. is expected. Regular attendance is required, and on occasion, later hours or weekend time may be required with project deadlines and a neat well-groomed professional appearance is essential at all times.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position supervises Shipping & Receiving Clerks.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The essential functions of the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor include but not limited to:
Maintains inventory levels and stock as requested for Casino departments. Counts and logs all goods signed, maintains receipt/packing slips.- Ensures, prepares, and logs all outgoing items as necessary, including computer programs with appropriate shipping agencies.
- Oversees receipt of orders and maintains records or receipt. Oversees and receives goods from all couriers and parcel deliveries including food inventory.
- Ensures that deliveries are made, as requested, to Casino Departments. Makes deliveries and runs errands to return equipment, programs etc. Assists with assembly of office equipment and related office assistance. Assists with preparation and loading up supplies for trade shows.
- Deliver and retrieve items from Casino storage units, including accounting and HR records in accordance with established procedures.
- Assists Marketing Department with transport, special events, and other requests.
- Maintains purchasing files in a neat, orderly, and accurate manner.
- Works safely and efficiently, utilizing safe equipment techniques and products.
- Is current on facility disaster plan and acts accordingly.
- Ensures high and acceptable quality control standards for position and team.
- Attends and participates in department and property-wide meetings and trainings.
- Ensures compliance and accountability of department budget.
- Assists with performance reviews of Shipping & Receiving Clerks.
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies and State and Federal laws.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A High School Diploma or GED is required for this position. One (1) to three (3) years of supervisory experience and three (3) to five (5) years of shipping & receiving experience is required.
SKILL, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent communication and guest relation skills are essential. Able to learn and follow detailed policies and procedures.
Must be a minimum of 21 years old and have the ability to obtain and retain a Washington State Class III Gaming License; successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen; and have and maintain a driving record that at least meets the minimum requirements established by Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel vehicle insurance provider.

The environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member may encounter while performing the essential functions of the position.
Primarily indoors and may be exposed to heavy smoke and fluctuations in temperature while in and around the Casino and/or Hotel. May also, from time-to-time, be exposed to noise from slot machines, customers, music and public announcement system, as is common in a Casino and/or Hotel environment. Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel operates in a 24/7 environment.
Position, in support of LEC&H’s Pride in Property values, assists with the daily cleaning of public and team member spaces, ensuring hey are properly cleaning (to property standards) and sanitized; examples of daily cleaning protocols include but are not limited to the cleaning of work areas, machines, equipment, using cleaning and sanitizing agents and report of any and all cleanliness issues.
