- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Assist customers with product inquiries, upselling relevant items to enhance their shopping experience
- Conduct product demos when needed to showcase features and benefits of merchandise
- Support merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a tidy sales floor
- Engage in retail math to ensure accurate register balancing and inventory tracking
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and creating a positive shopping environment
Qualifications
- Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
