Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the pharmacist in daily operations, provide excellent customer service, and assist with both in-store prescriptions and delivery pharmacy services.
Responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist with prescription processing and dispensing
- Accurately enter prescription information into the pharmacy system
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service at the counter and over the phone
- Process insurance claims and troubleshoot billing issues
- Support prescription preparation and coordination for delivery services
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of off-site/delivery prescriptions
- Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring expiration dates
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
- Adhere to all state and federal pharmacy regulations
Experience
- Previous retail pharmacy technician experience preferred
- Experience with Outcomes® WinRx pharmacy software strongly preferred
- Current Pharmacy Technician registration/certification valid in Wisconsin (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer proficiency
