What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Mechanic II position at Luck Companies?
Rebuild, maintain, repair and troubleshoot heavy mobile equipment. Order parts, and maintain record of tasks performed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Train and mentor others as needed.
- Rebuild heavy mobile equipment. Inspect and evaluate parts and components for reuse.
- Maintain, repair and troubleshoot heavy mobile equipment. System expertise include engines, hydraulics, electrical, HVAC and power train.
- Keep up to date with current technical mobile equipment documentation and train others as needed.
- Complete all documentation such as work order service reports, part orders, and maintenance reports.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Work Experience: 5 years' experience repairing and maintaining heavy equipment
Required Licenses & Certifications:
Technical Competencies:
- Ability to lift and carry 45 pounds.
- Ability to safely repair and maintain heavy equipment
- Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, reach, or climb.
