What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Operator position at Luck Companies?
Luck Stone's Pittsboro Plant is seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance Operator to join their team. Our Plant Operators monitor our crushers, conveyors, screens, feeders and bins to maximize production and provide quality products. Since safety is a top priority at Luck, much of your responsibility will focus on ensuring that our equipment and machinery remain in top-notch condition through hands-on maintenance.
- Assist with preventative and reactive maintenance: changing screens, greasing, changing rollers, belt splices, rebuilding crushers, welding and fabrication a bonus
- Consistently inspect and monitor plant to ensure proper operation
- Assists with other site projects as requested
- Prioritizes safety throughout operation for self and others
- Aiding coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift
Qualifications:
- Prior experience (1 year) preferred operating and/or performing maintenance in a similar environment
- Mechanically inclined
- Basic computer skills
- Welding a plus
- Must have a team-oriented, positive outlook toward work and accomplishing goals.
Competitive hourly pay (biweekly). The position starts at $23.73 per hour and could increase upon experience assessment from management. Benefits start on day 1 of employment and include:
