What are the responsibilities and job description for the EOS- Field Stationary Mechanic position at Luck Companies?
Perform troubleshooting, rebuilds and repairs on all types of stationary equipment. Supports Foreman, Plant Managers and Plant Operators with highest level of technical repairs. Maintains service truck for reliability and safety according to DOT standards. Stays current on all certifications necessary to support Luck Stone locations. As SME, advises and develops Plant Operators in areas of reactive maintenance, performance, and housekeeping. Responsible for ordering parts and maintaining records of tasks performed.
Position will support NOVA S and North, and Richmond area if needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
60% of job: Maintain, repair and troubleshoot stationary equipment including hydraulic systems and water pumps. System expertise includes all aspects of crushing, screening, and all other related equipment. Lead and mentor key plant associates in troubleshooting and repairs of stationary equipment. Train in proper safe methods of equipment tooling and repairs. Lead and mentor key plant associates in troubleshooting and repairs of stationary equipment. 35% of job: Rebuild stationary equipment. Conduct detailed inspections to assess wear and evaluate the reusability of parts and components. Advise plant leadership on repair-versus-replacement decisions, providing technical expertise to support cost-effective and operationally sound outcomes
5% of job: Maintain service truck, equipment and work site in a safe and effective manner according to all DOT, MSHA and company standards.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Work Experience: 5 years’ experience repairing and maintaining stationary equipment
Required Licenses & Certifications: Surface Foreman Certification (Preferred)
