Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated full time Lead Server/Dining Room Manager. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive dining experience. You will be able to write your own schedule. Includes 4 serving shifts and 1 admin day. Responsibilities include liquor and supply orders and schedule writing. No Nights! Be proud of the food you serve. We are a family owned 45 year old restaurant company looking to expand.
Duties
- Greet and assist customers as they enter the establishment, ensuring a friendly and inviting environment.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing Aloha POS for processing transactions.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision, ensuring adherence to cash handling protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining tables and service stations.
- Provide information about menu items, catering options, and daily specials to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor food safety standards to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in training new staff members on customer service best practices and operational procedures.
- Schedule writing
- Some small supply ordering
- Facilitate training of new hires
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or customer service is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices is essential.
- Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with retail math is a plus, along with any catering experience.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
