Lucile's is an American restaurant in The Continental Hotel, a historic boutique hotel. Named one of Iowa's Top 10 Burgers in 2024, Lucile's is hiring a Float to join our team. It is a great place to work if you're passionate about serving food and drink to travelers staying at The Continental Hotel as well as locals who have enjoyed our restaurant for 20 years.
Floats: Busser/Food Runner/Host
NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED! Get your start in the restaurant industry. Or, pick up a job that will let you get your steps in while picking up some extra cash.
Hours
MUST be available for day or evening shifts on Fridays and Saturdays. Currently NO weekday shifts available!
Responsibilities
- Interact with customers, carry food, and clear tables
- Prep food and drink stations and supplies
- Restock and replenish inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with food and beverage regulations
Skills
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Ability to stand, lift, move quickly, and learn by doing
Pay
Base pay for floats is $9.75/hour. Plus, a percentage of tips for their help!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $9.75 - $14.00 per hour
