Duties
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring presentation aligns with event standards.
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements, linens, and service stations.
- Clear tables efficiently while maintaining cleanliness throughout the event.
- Assist with food handling, food preparation support, and beverage service including wine knowledge and drink mixing when needed.
- Support catering operations by bussing tables, replenishing supplies, and ensuring guest comfort throughout the event.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and handle any special requests or dietary needs promptly.
- Maintain a neat, clean and well groomed appearance
- Must have availability to work nights, weekends and possibly holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality is highly preferred; banquet experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with fine dining service styles and beverage service techniques
- Background in catering or large event service helps in managing high-volume settings smoothly.
- Strong guest relations skills with an emphasis on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
