We’re looking for a Materials Engineer who enjoys hands‑on work, technical investigation, and working directly with clients to make a real impact.
What You’ll Do
- Lead materials and metallurgical evaluations, including failure analysis of metals and alloys
- Work hands‑on with techniques such as SEM, metallography, hardness testing and image analysis
- Collaborate with clients to define testing programmes and technical approaches
- Produce clear, professional technical reports
- Work closely with a multi‑disciplinary expert team
- Degree in Materials Science or Metallurgical Engineering (advanced degree a plus)
- Practical experience with metals and high‑performance alloys
- Strong problem‑solving skills and technical curiosity
- Clear communication skills for technical and client‑facing work
- Work on interesting, high‑impact projects
