Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to ensure a pristine environment.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures effectively across all areas, adhering to safety standards and using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with care and efficiency.
- Clean floors using various techniques including sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care to maintain a spotless appearance.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain organized cleaning equipment and supplies while ensuring proper storage and inventory management.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to janitorial practices, outdoor work (if applicable), and sanitation procedures to promote a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous residential cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of cleaning surfaces, dusting, floor care, and janitorial practices.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet extractors, mops, buffers, and other janitorial tools.
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents and sanitization products along with proper handling techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in order to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods.
- Experience in outdoor work environments or outdoor cleaning tasks is a plus.
- Excellent client communication skills with a friendly attitude that fosters trust and satisfaction.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining stamina throughout the shift.
