Immediate Hiring | Weekend Position | Private Family
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and passionate Private Chef or Experienced Cook to prepare fresh, delicious meals for a private family in Granite Bay, California.
This is an ongoing weekend position with consistent work every weekend. While the schedule is currently weekends only, we are looking for someone interested in building a long-term working relationship with our family.
Compensation
$35–$75 per hour
Pay is negotiable based on experience, skill level, and qualifications.

You do not need to be a professionally trained chef to apply.
If you are confident in the kitchen, enjoy cooking, have experience preparing a variety of meals, and can create thoughtful weekly menus, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
- Plan creative weekly menus
- Grocery shopping (if needed)
- Prepare fresh lunch and dinner
- Cook a variety of cuisines
- Adjust recipes based on dietary needs or restrictions
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitized throughout service
- Properly store, label, and rotate food
- Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene practices
- Wash dishes and leave the kitchen in excellent condition after cooking
Qualifications
- Experience cooking for families, catering, restaurants, private clients, or personal chef services is preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen sanitation
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
