Nature of Work
Under the supervision of the administration, the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) assesses, reports on, and makes recommendations for appropriate programs based on quality assessment data. The BCBA will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and supervising behavior intervention plans, and providing oversight to Behavior Interventionists and other direct service staff.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), skills assessments, and client intake evaluations.
2. Develop individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans based on assessment results and best practices in ABA.
3. Provide ongoing supervision and support to behavior interventionists, ensuring fidelity of implementation and ethical practice.
4. Train caregivers, educators, and support staff on behavior management strategies and skill-building interventions.
5. Collect, analyze, and report on client progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinical, ethical, and funding source guidelines.
7. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators, to ensure comprehensive client care.
8. Uphold all BACB ethical standards and stay current with ABA research and practices.
9. Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
1.Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
2.Active BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
3. At least 1 year of experience providing ABA services in a clinical, home, or school setting.
4.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
5.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
6.Experience working with children with autism and other developmental disorders.
7.Proficiency in electronic data collection and ABA practice management systems.
8.Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred
