  • Summary

    The Member Services Trainer is a key part of the Concierge Team based in the Narus Patient Support Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The Member Services Trainer will be responsible for training in the Billing Care Coordinator and Support Specialist roles. The Member Services Trainer will manage and lead the assessment, design, and delivery of training programs for the Narus Concierge Team, which includes internal processes, procedures and guidelines, vendor specific programs / interfaces and regulatory and statutory requirements.

    Responsibilities :

    The Member Services Trainer supports the Member Services Manager by ensuring a thorough delivery of training material for the success of new hires. The Member Services Trainer is expected to promote a positive working and learning environment.

  • Execute training for Support Specialists and Billing Care Coordinators by contributing to the development of their job performance in alignment with the organizational needs and requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Narus Leadership team to ensure changes, escalated issues and complex solutions are properly incorporated into training.
  • Work with leaders within the Member Services department to analyze the performance of the workforce so that additional and ongoing training and development can be prescribed.
  • Research, develop, document, and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines consistent with Narus templates and formats.
  • Serve as a technical resource for the Billing Care Coordinator and Support Specialist roles.
  • Monitor, measure, and document the effectiveness of all training programs.
  • Travel as needed to the corporate location in Nashville, TN for onboarding week of new hires.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications :

  • Working knowledge of the Billing Care Coordinator and Support Specialist roles and possess solid technical aptitude.
  • A working knowledge of the Self-Funded, TPA business industry including medical terminology, claims processing, and plan documents.
  • Experience (or a strong desire to learn) with adult learning theories and a high level of attention to detail, process and organization.
  • Experience (or a strong desire to learn) devising training programs, training schedules and classroom agendas according to organization requirements.
  • Experience (or a strong desire to learn) assessing individual's skills / abilities to determine the appropriate course of action.
  • Experience (or a strong desire to learn) conducting successful needs assessments when necessary.
  • Experience (or a strong desire to learn) monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of training and training programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that demonstrate courtesy, tact and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills.
