Job Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for providing operational leadership for high-volume order fulfillment for all revenue channels in the distribution center. Supervise all workflow functions to ensure timely and accurate product receipt, order fulfillment, and optimization of resources and processes, all while operating within budget.
Scope of Job:
Act as a liaison between customers, corporate partners, the factory, and management to ensure that service aligns with the brand strategy and meets the business's needs. The warehouse supervisor carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Participate in supporting associates with training opportunities, enabling them to apply their skills immediately in daily work.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Understand the financial and brand image impact caused by daily operations and practices.
- Ensure department staff members are effectively utilizing the divisions of responsibilities to take ownership of the business in their respective areas.
- Maintain warehouse standards, inventory control, and maximize performance against pre-agreed targets.
- Assist in the supervision of controlling payroll budget and weekly hours within the area of responsibility to ensure appropriate coverage.
- Teach and train other team members in the best departmental practices and procedures.
- Educate team members to identify key performance improvement indicators, target opportunities for improvement, adopt best practice processes, and successfully execute initiatives.
- Ensure all employees adhere to Lucchese Policies and Procedures.
- Support the warehouse leads in daily operations to meet individual KPI and Lucchese goals.
- Report problems, damage, and feedback to the Warehouse Manager.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, including but not limited to the facilities and equipment.
- Ensure daily operations are possible by maintaining supply inventory.
- Comfortable and willing to embrace change and adapt strategies on the fly.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned outside of the specialty area.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Understand the duties and impact of warehouse functions, including but not limited to forklift operations, receiving, packing/shipping, and cycle counting.
- Experience in
- Demonstrates analytical, problem-solving, strong work ethic, and decision-making skills with the ability to drive results.
- Solid math skills, including the ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply and divide.
- Confident and clear communicator with solid teamwork and team-leading skills.
- Must have a naturally optimistic, passionate, friendly, solutions-oriented mentality and personality.
Education, Experience, and/or Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations or related preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehouse or similar field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Experience and fluency with computers and online software systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and lifting materials.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Comfortable with heights, including operating equipment and moving inventory.
- Must be able to hear and listen to communicate effectively.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Monday-Friday 7:30AM to 4:30PM with availability on Saturdays.
