The position is full-time, supporting the Department of Defense and ensuring IT system integrity, security, and compliance with federal cybersecurity directives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows-based systems and network infrastructure in a classified SAP/SCI environment
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise system backups
- Ensure systems are compliant with DoD cybersecurity frameworks including RMF, JSIG, and NIST guidelines
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and security
- Implement system hardening and vulnerability remediation following DoD STIGs
- Maintain security logs and audit trails in accordance with DoD and Air Force directives
- Coordinate with cybersecurity personnel to support Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes
- Support account creation, access control, and user support for classified IT systems
- Participate in incident response and continuity of operations planning
- Document system configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures
- Security Clearance: Active or interim Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI and SAP access
- Certifications: Must possess IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security , CCNA Security)
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting secure systems in SAP/SCI environments
- Knowledge:
- Windows Server administration and Active Directory services
- Risk Management Framework (RMF), JSIG, and DoD cybersecurity compliance
- DoD, ICD, CNSS, AFIs, and applicable federal IT policies
- Skills: Strong technical troubleshooting, attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills
- Familiarity with VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms
- Experience with secure scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell)
- Prior work in Air Force or other military SAP environments
- Understanding of ATO packages, vulnerability scanning tools, and enterprise endpoint security
- Support mission-critical operations in defense of national security
- Work in a secure, classified environment with advanced technologies
