Lucayan Technology Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior-Level Data Warehouse Specialist to support the National Park Service (NPS) in designing and maintaining enterprise data integration solutions. This role focuses on building geospatial and alphanumeric data warehouses and/or data lakes, developing strategies for enterprise data consolidation, enabling geospatial capabilities, and supporting data visualization and reporting needs. This is a full-time position contingent upon contract award, with the potential for remote work upon approval.

Job Responsibilities

Data Warehousing & Integration Duties:

• Develop strategies for data integration across geospatial and alphanumeric data sources to support enterprise NPS needs.
• Lead assessments to identify priority data sets and develop effective architecture for warehouse and data lake environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise data architecture supporting both traditional and modern data stack approaches.
• Build and optimize processes for data movement, transformation, and quality control.
• Create and maintain scalable data warehouse models that consolidate diverse datasets, including spatial data.
• Evaluate and implement appropriate reporting, mapping, and dashboard tools for data visualization.
• Develop and maintain database scripts, ETL workflows, and data movement automations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess system requirements and make recommendations for integration and enhancement.
• Produce prototype reports, dashboards, and maps to support end-user needs and decision-making.
• Support ongoing project planning and task management efforts across data integration initiatives.
  
  

Essential Qualifications:

Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a National Agency Check (NAC) or National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI).

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience building and managing data warehouses, including geospatial data integration.
• Proven experience with enterprise data integration architecture and tools.
• Experience developing dashboards, maps, and reports from aggregated data using business intelligence platforms.
  
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Geographic Information Systems, or a related technical field required.
  
  

Skills

• Deep knowledge of data warehousing tools, data lake design, and modern data integration frameworks.
• Familiarity with geospatial data management and relational/spatial database platforms.
• Strong understanding of self-service BI tools and best practices.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives and interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
