Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of 3-axis and 4-axis CNC machining centers.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and part tolerances.
- Understand tooling requirements and machine setup instructions.
- Make program and offset adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine daily preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including proper care and storage of company tools and equipment.
- Safely lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous CNC machining and machine setup experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Understanding of basic shop mathematics, including decimal and fraction conversions.
