What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Environmental Health Specialist/In-Training - Food position at Lucas County?
This position is responsible for performing the inspection and enforcement of environmental health standards as prescribed by all applicable laws, ordinances, and regulation for all programs within the environmental health division.
Responsibilities include the evaluation of public health hazards, conducting environmental health inspections of facilities, businesses, homes and other sites. This position will additionally prepare reports, educate the general public and facilities, complete plan reviews, help prevent disease from spreading, and help to prevent any negative environmental health impacts within the community.
