What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist (PRN) position at Lucas County Health Center?
Department:
Physical Therapy
Days and Shifts:
- Monday – Friday from 8 AM – 4:30 PM, varied hours
- No weekends
- No call
Description:
- Provide evaluation consultation, and treatment of patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing deficits
- Provides on-going speech/language therapy to patients of diverse ages and their families.
Requirements
Educational/Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or obtain within one year of hire
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Iowa
- Mandatory Reporter required within 6 months of hire
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well.
