POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for manufacturing and visual inspection of product to meet daily customer demand and the production schedule. This position places high expectations on consistency in following the Company’s quality system. It requires the Manufacturing Operator to be able to read/interpret specifications/requirements, identify errors and issues, and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The Manufacturing Operator must be a team-player, effective communicator, and be efficient. The most critical aspect to this position is an unwavering dedication to the quality of the product and safety of the workplace.

SHIFT: There are multiple positions available. Lubrizol operates with a First and Second shift.
Sample First Shift: Monday through Thursday 5:00 am – 3:30 pm
Sample Second Shift: Monday through Thursday 2:00 pm – 12:30 am

WAGE: $17 hourly. Quarterly bonus paid on gross earnings. There is an additional $1/hour differential paid for working 2nd shift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by following assembly instructions and specifications.
  • Manufacture basic components per Work Order utilizing equipment specified.
  • Set up equipment in accordance with Operating Procedures.
  • Control and adjust basic machine settings within established or qualified ranges.
  • Accurate documentation and ownership of work completed.
  • May be required to read, interpret, and monitor the time & temperature charts.
  • May be required to verify equipment parameters (temperature/pressure range)
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good penmanship
  • Organization skills
  • Manufacturing in accordance with cGMP
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for working.

HIRING GUIDELINES:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 0-3 years of related experience
  • Read and comprehend procedures, drawings, and specifications
  • Basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction)
  • Ability to work with hand tools.
  • Good written and oral communications skills
  • Familiarity with personal computers

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Constantly use hands to finger, handle or feel.
  • Frequently sit, stand, walk, and reach within hands and arm’s length.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Constant repetitive motion tasks, including pushing, pulling, and reaching.
  • Constant work at close vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Indoor, climate-controlled environment. Cleanroom space requires cleanroom garments and other Personal Protective Equipment such as: safety glasses in the designated areas or gloves. #LI-HD1
