Job Summary
We are seeking a CDL dedicated and hardworking Delivery / Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves a combination of warehouse duties and delivery responsibilities, ensuring that products are efficiently loaded, transported, and delivered to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service, be able to handle heavy lifting, and possess the necessary driving skills to operate box trucks and other delivery vehicles.
Duties
- Load and unload products from delivery vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques.
- Drive box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations.
- Follow established delivery routes while ensuring timely arrival at each stop.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies in orders.
- Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and general upkeep of the work area.
- Perform heavy lifting and moving of products as required throughout the day.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
- Experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and requirements for operating box trucks.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Skills in operating forklifts and pallet jacks are beneficial for this role.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
