Duties
- Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites
- Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate wiring and system layouts
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform wiring, conduit installation, and fixture mounting
- Conduct low voltage and high voltage wiring tasks under supervision, adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
- Read and interpret schematics and electrical diagrams to support project execution
- Support the setup of low voltage systems such as alarms, data cabling, and communication networks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures and protocols
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety practices
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Experience with electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters is a plus
- Demonstrated understanding of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems
- Construction site experience or related construction background is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail, safety-minded approach, and excellent teamwork skills
