Front-of-House Team Member (Pickup, Takeout & Customer Service)

Luanda Restaurant & Event Space in Brockton, MA is looking for a motivated Front-of-House Team Member to join our growing team. We're a family-owned restaurant located at 453 Centre Street with over 25 team members.

As our business continues to grow, we've evolved beyond the traditional full-service restaurant model. Today, much of our business revolves around pickup orders, third-party delivery, catering, online ordering, and phone orders. We're looking for someone who enjoys interacting with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing outstanding customer service.

• Welcome and assist customers picking up orders
• Answer phones and accurately take customer orders
• Package and verify takeout, delivery, and catering orders for accuracy
• Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure orders are completed efficiently
• Assist with third-party delivery drivers and online orders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front counter area
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience with every interaction

• Friendly, positive, and reliable
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Customer service experience is a plus, but no prior restaurant experience is necessary—we'll train the right person
• Must be 18 years or older
• Speaking Cape Verdean Creole and/or Portuguese is a plus, but not required
