LU Sports is looking for a reliable and organized Soccer League Site Manager to independently oversee our weekly Adult Soccer Keagues.
We currently have an immediate need for:
Wednesday evenings — Elkton, MD (minutes from Newark, DE Border)
Friday evenings — Wilmington, DE
Each league night is approximately 3 hours, and candidates may work one or both nights.
We also have additional leagues and events coming to the Newark/Wilmington/Elkton area, creating opportunities for additional weekly hours for the right person.
You will serve as the primary LU Sports representative on site, responsible for making sure the league runs smoothly from setup through the final game.
Responsibilities
- Arrive before the first game and set up the fields
- Set up and break down league equipment
- Coordinate referees
- Assist teams and captains as needed
- Keep games running on schedule
- Serve as the primary LU Sports representative on site
- Handle basic game-day questions and issues
- Monitor the overall flow and organization of the league
- Communicate important updates to LU Sports management
- Make sure equipment is secured and the site is left organized after the final game
What We're Looking For
- Extremely reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working independently
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Confident interacting with players, captains, referees, and facility staff
- Good understanding of soccer
- Able to stay calm and make decisions when issues come up
- Previous soccer, coaching, refereeing, league, tournament, or sports operations experience is a plus
- Reliable transportation
Current Schedule
Wednesday evenings — Elkton, MD
Friday evenings — Wilmington, DE
Approximately 3 hours per league night.
Candidates may work one or both nights depending on availability.
Additional hours may become available through upcoming LU Sports leagues, tournaments, and events throughout the surrounding area.
Pay
$20–$30 per hour, based on experience and responsibilities.
