Quality Control Lab Analyst- Pharmaceutical ManufacturingPosition Overview
Lohman Therapy Systems North America is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Lab Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and safety of our pharmaceutical products by conducting routine analytical testing on in-process and finished goods. You will work independently and as part of a team to maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency in the laboratory.
- This is a full-time, onsite role located in West St. Paul, MN.
- Working hours are 8:00a – 5:00pm
What You Will Do:
- Conduct routine quality control analysis of in-process and finished goods, including:
- Bench work such as solution preparation, pH, water content, HPLC, dissolution, and transdermal physical testing.
- Stability testing according to established protocols.
- Environmental monitoring of production clean rooms.
- Equipment cleaning verification.
- Perform QC review of data records.
- Draft stability program protocols and reports.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations (cGMP, cGLP, USP).
- Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities within the laboratory.
- Troubleshoot analytical instrumentation problems (HPLC).
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing laboratory environment.
- Strong knowledge of analytical techniques, including pH, water content, and HPLC.
- Experience using chromatographic software (Empower 3 preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Experience with aseptic technique and TOC.
- Experience with dissolution and GC.
- Ability to think critically and troubleshoot typical analytical (HPLC) instrumentation problems.
