Job Summary:
As a Production Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving mechanical, electrical, and computerized production systems in a highly regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting equipment issues, implementing preventative maintenance, and collaborating with the Engineering team on process optimization.
- This is a full time, onsite role located in West St. Paul, MN
- First shift: 6:00am- 2:30pm Monday - Friday, occasional overtime.
What You Will Do:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues.
- Improve equipment efficiency through analysis and implementation of solutions.
- Collaborate with production operators and engineers to optimize processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
Your Background:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or related field, or an Associate’s degree in a technical field.
- At least 1 year in a regulated environment such as pharmaceutical, med device or food.
- Experience with die cutting, converting, or packaging equipment preferred.
- Proficiency in using shop tools and equipment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
These Skills Would Also Be Helpful:
- Knowledge of PLC’s and ladder logic control
- Experience with machining parts on a mill or lathe
- Welding experience (TIG, MIG, Stick)
- Experience with vision systems and sensors.
