Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas.
- Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, following proper chemical handling safety procedures.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums to ensure optimal floor care and sanitation.
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks using safe lifting practices when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas to meet sanitation standards.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks including light repairs or reporting issues requiring specialized attention.
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred.
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely in accordance with safety protocol adherence.
- Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize daily tasks efficiently.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
