Job Description:
- Seeking a expert in Cassandra DBA and RedHat Linux Administration to manage and optimize Cassandra database environments and Linux systems
- Administer and maintain Cassandra database clusters ensuring high availability and performance Manage RedHat Linux servers supporting Cassandra database and related applications
- Monitor database health perform tuning and optimize Cassandra performance Implement backup recovery and disaster recovery strategies for Cassandra databases
- Perform routine patching upgrades and security hardening of RedHat Linux systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Cassandra database and Linux system performance
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to deploy and support database solutions
- Maintain documentation for Cassandra configurations Linux administration procedures and operational best practices
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Cassandra database management and Linux administration
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design configure and implement Cassandra database architectures tailored to business requirements
- Manage Cassandra cluster operations including node provisioning replication and data consistency
- Conduct root cause analysis for database and system incidents and provide timely resolutions
- Perform RedHat Linux system administration tasks including user management patching and security
- Automate routine Cassandra and Linux administration tasks to improve operational efficiency
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness of Cassandra and Linux environments
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including DBAs developers and infrastructure engineers to support critical applications
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on Cassandra and Linux best practices

Salary : $75,000 - $105,000
